Wallace Studios is pleased to announce the winner of this year’s Planet in Focus, Green Pitch Award. The winner of this exciting competition is awarded $5,500 in development funding and services and goes to the best eco-film idea pitched before a jury of film and television professionals. The Green Pitch Award went to Charlotte Engel for her documentary CARPE DIEM, sponsored by CBC’s The Nature of Things with David Suzuki, Precision Transfer Technologies and Wallace Film Studios.

The two winners of the Wallace Studio prizes in the Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival have also been announced. Congratulations to Aadhi Vive for her film, DIASPORA  in the Achievement in Film Direction – Fiction category and to Ben Brommell for his film, OIL AND WATER in the Achievement in Film Direction – Non-Fiction category.
